MINELAB WEDDERBURN DETECTOR JAMBOREE - WEDDERBURN VIC
The annual Minelab Wedderburn Detector Jamboree is a two day event held at Hard Hill Tourist Reserve in Wedderburn.
The weekend involves two days of detecting the Wedderburn goldfields for tokens and nuggets.
In addition to the detecting competition, there will be lots other entertainment and activities - gold panning competitions, detecting demonstrations, exhibitions, stalls, local attractions, children's activities and more.

The Australian Gold Panning Championship - Ballarat, VIC
The Victorian Gold Panning Association will be holding the Australian Gold Panning Championships on monday 12th of March at lake Wendouree in Ballarat.
Catagories are designed to cater for all ages and skill levels:
- Eueka Challenge Entry $20
- Skilled Entry $15
- Batea Pan FREE
- Novice Entry $10
- Jonior under 16 Entry $10
- Children under 12 Entry $5
- Teams & Sponsors FREE
There are also Novelty events planner. Practice is available on Sunday 11th March from 2pm - 5.30pm. Registrations are from 9am-1pm Monday 12th March with heats beginging at 9.30am
